Get More Durability With Acrylic Clawfoot Tubs Than Cast Iron Provides
There are many advantages to selecting acrylic clawfoot tubs as opposed to the traditional cast iron look. Bathtubs made with cast iron have a tendency to rust or crack over time. The acrylic material has longer lasting quality that is not subject to the same wear and tear. Additionally, cast iron can stain from using bath oils and bubbles. The good thing is that cast iron can be durable, but acrylic clawfoot tubs are also durable and yet you will not have the same concerns. If your bathroom floor is not sturdy enough to support the cast iron, you will need to not only replace the tub, but also the flooring.

My wife is going to be glad to hear we can put a clawfooted tub inour bathroom as long as its acrylic. The old cast iron ones are too heavy for the upstairs bathroom, but this will work just fine.
